Morning all.

To those sick, chicken noodle soup.
To those watching deadbeats, Gopro is your friend.
To those going to work, my sympathies.
To those in mexico, make sure to use protection.
To the rest of ya, have a great day.

In the shop trying to finish cabinet, got Albert King on the stereo, all is well.

A very old man lay dying in his bed. In death's doorway, he suddenly smelled the aroma of his favorite chocolate chip cookie wafting up the stairs.

He gathered his remaining strength and lifted himself from the bed. Leaning against the wall, he slowly made his way out of the bedroom, and with even greater effort forced himself down the stairs, gripping the railing with both hands. With labored breath, he leaned against the door frame, gazing into the kitchen.

Were it not for death's agony, he would have thought himself already in heaven. There, spread out on newspapers on the kitchen table were literally hundreds of his favorite chocolate chip cookies.

Was it heaven? Or was it one final act of heroic love from his devoted wife, seeing to it that he left this world a happy man? Mustering one great final effort, he threw himself toward the table. The aged and withered hand, shaking, made its way to a cookie at the edge of the table, when he was suddenly smacked with a spatula by his wife.

"Stay out of those," she said. "They're for the funeral."

Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

Sunday, was easing back up the Natchez Trace enjoying one of those "it's great to be alive" days and probably too much of a beer buzz.. Listening to some NRBQ and picking bugs from my teeth cuz' I just couldn't quit smiling.
Started feeling a terrible vibration. Thought, damn, those bearings are not very old.. Turned the tunes down to see if I could hear anything.. Yup, it stopped!!

Thanks SBates!! Think my speakers are broken in now!!

And to those that don't understand the tunes on a scooter. I didn't either till' I got an Ultra. And they gotta be loud, cuz' the scooter is loud and my ears are shot!

Hey ya fellers and thanks for the well wishes.

I think the old man got a dose of the same stuff that has hit me. It's hitting our area pretty hard. He's having a hard time with it and is weak as a kitten. Last night around midnight he fell and I had to run over and help get him up

Lou - glad yer exam went well in spite of the stressful situation.

Hey Baker. Glad you got that stereo situation worked out. I think I'm just gonna buy myself a new set of earbuds!
