$45 a rotor to turn here. Rotors are anywhere from $35-50 new for what I deal with.

Wow! I can't even comprehend what that's like it's been so long. Our furnace still runs regularly throughout the day.

About the same here, and we seem to have the same
abundance of free time so we'd lose time waiting for the turning and get even further behind

Yup. I can have new rotors in 20 minutes delivered and at least a day down for turning to save $10.
