Mick, there were a couple times I caught myself contemplating, am I going to be able to do this when I'm 70 !

The problem is that the bikes get heavier as you get older. You have to carry more things on a daily basis.....like extra Depends, Pepto Bismol,Geritol and more meds.

Hahaha....been thinking of packing a geezer first aid kit myself, Al.

I was joking about the Depends and Geritol. But Pepto tablets, Tylenol, Weebles pills and a few other things are in the saddlebags, along with extra gloves (circulation problems in fingers) and a rain suit, just getting too old to get wet and cold.

Glass wipes (Could include a$$ wipes), Advil, Antacids, eye drops, band-aids, etc

....and that's just the stuff to ride to Starbucks.....the list gets bigger for every 30 miles past that.
