My dad's was an All American "Grocery Getter" V6 powered that had a behemoth gas tank and he could drive well over 400 miles on it if my memory serves me right.

Bought it brand new and pancaked the center of the drivers door within a couple of days checking out some chic walking across a parking lot. My mother never let him forget it and he never fixed it.

My first car was a well used '65 LeSabre. Hated it then. Wish I had it back.
Not this one...this is just a stock photo.

Very Weird, I follow a couple of FB pages. Just started following them recently for some reason.

Here is my dad's one true AMC love. He bought this right off the showroom floor at the dealership.

I've had two white '59 Rambler station wagons. One was my first car, cost $100, had a 327 V8, and was probably the most dangerous car I ever drove. Second was when a buddy got a new job, had to move and didn't want to take the old Rambler with him. Begged me to take it for $200. 6 cyl, 3 on the tree, with really cold air conditioning; was cooler and got better mileage than a Toyota Corolla I drove to work, so I drove the Rambler for a couple years. That was one slow car...
