I been doing a bit of binge watching of Justified. Not bad stuff at all and a whole lot of familiar country in that.


The only side effect is that I think my southern drawl has gotten more pronounced

Sometimes we are so insulated from certain segments of society we only see stuff like this on the news. Sherri's cousin, a truly bad dude, died last month during an encounter with LEOs. Quite the family buzz and of course....he was a good boy who was getting his life turned around. Yeah, right.

Of course I don't know your wife's brother's history other than what you say, but so often if you trace a guys past, things like that can come down to drugs. It 'aint just the drugs, it's the people you have to associate with to get 'em.


I've had some dark days fellers and I spent a few years flirting with the hard stuff although I never used a needle.


I have to give my wife credit for pulling me away from that.

Yep. Street name was Beanie. His Dad was a career criminal who spent little time out of prison. Died in prison as a matter of fact. Junior never stood a chance at a decent life. In trouble from about 9 years of age. Hard core gang member, etc.

Of course his Mother and Sisters had to post him onto Facebook with angel's wings...I believe a fire extinguisher would have been more apropos.
