Think it was 1970, was riding kinda aimlessly with a canvas one man pup tent and sleeping bag, just rode into woods at night outta sight of the road. Did that in north Florida, next day was talking with a guy that said I was lucky, lotta black bears in those woods. Well, I did have a 4 or 5" hunting knife... also didn't know at that time there were bears in Florida or I would've spent 8 or 10 bucks in one of those little Mom&Pop cabin motels that were common back then. Which I did the remainder of the Florida ride, especially farther south where I knew there were alligators.

It appears that one of my posts (a very innocuous one at that) has been removed from a thread in GHDC.
A brand new name posts that they are 50 and want a touring bike for their very first one. I felt it was an obvious troll post and said:
"Obvious troll post" followed by the Don't feed the troll icon.
It was removed. Geeeze

I love that movie. The Cowboys is good too. Thought about showing Beth the "John Wayne Speech Therapy" scene with the stuttering kid but she prolly wouldn't cotton to it too well

I no longer venture out of B/S, unless it is a link from in here. I do not do well with idiots and higher-minded people (Touring). Besides, I tend to have the crazies follow me about.
