Once again the T.O.A.K. has enlightened me ... I never heard of "puce" ( I thought you guys were referring to "upchuck" ) :>)
I hear the sound of plastic bags being filled with potential discards. It is constant...my pulse is quickening...there is a roaring in my ears....it's like I am about to walk The Green Mile.
Naw, that's your bud in Traverse City up north of ya.

I use to get excited about "relocating prized possessions" ... until I figured out her elaborate scheme
Here is what BING says about
Puce
Puce (variant spellings: "puse", "peuse" or "peuce") is a dark red or purple brown color, a brownish purple or a dark reddish brown. Puce is the French word for flea. The color is said to be the color of the bloodstains remaining on linen or bedsheets, even after being laundered, from a flea's droppings or after a flea has been crushed.
