Mornin, Russ. Back reading and saw you were discussing travel to WS17 with Greg. Springfield, MO is about half way for him, only 300 miles from me. As much as I would like to meet up with him my plan was to break the 950 total into a more balanced ride.

Mornin, Doc. Very warm here yesterday so I rode for a couple of hours. Felt good. I now have about 350 miles on the new front tire so I think it is sufficiently scuffed.

I would take the southern route and depending on time I might stay off the slab. Depending on if my missus is accompanying me or not determines what I am doing trailering/riding, tank to tank or stopping at antique stores.

I've looked at several routes. I know me, I take a bunch of back roads and it will take me a week of meandering to get there.

hahaha...yep. I am more the type to see something in the distance and say to myself, that looks interesting, let's go that way. I start out toward Maggie Valley and end up in Southern Mississippi.
