I thought that too, but a year later, the bank account was growing. Amazing how much more two people spend living together than just one grumpy frugal old man. I probably wouldn't have a chinese scooter now, let alone 3 Harleys and all those other roofless vehicles, otherwise.
Bet he doesn't try any crosswind landings today! Cirrus is probably too fast, but a Cessa 150 might be able to fly backwards in this wind - I've done that.

Lou, when I was in Idaho several years ago I was amazed at the way they did business over water. One family owned the land where a spring broke the surface and everybody down stream had to pay them.
Hard to imagine that sort of thing while living here where water is pretty much everywhere.
