Yep Stan, our little local rag had some very similar columns for the different areas of the county.
My great-aunt wrote was called the Doe Creek news and would put it in the paper every time I went to visit her even though she lived pretty much right across the road. I miss that little old hillbilly woman still. She used to make buttermilk fudge for me every Christmas and kept a jar of Ovaltine for me to have when I stopped by.
