Who knows actually at this point, I was just told I was on the list to attend the meeting as I met the criteria for the meeting.

The criteria is not actually known so rumors are running rampant. I would guess there has been enough leaked info to make some kind of reliable speculation but again who knows.

These things always encourage employee morale. Local admins have probably been told to zip their lips and the higher echelon are coming to enlighten us

Not saying that's what's happening in your case, but it seems that whenever a company or organization is starting to get a number of folks who have been there for a long time and have reached the top of their pay scale, they start trying to figger out ways of making them want to leave.

We have a similar meeting/con call tomorrow morning. All the invitation said was "Team Announcement" and so now everyone is making diamonds out of charcoal in their *** cracks. And it includes more than just my team, it is a few different teams and not al are under my manager

 

I'm betting your company's fiscal year is up in April..

 

Our fiscal year ended in December. It is a bit weird but I have no real worries. Probably some re-orginization that doesn't affect me one little bit in my day to day duties. Haha, I said doodies

 

I'm happy to hear you won't be affected no matter what it's about Mark. A lot of companies start to scramble about this time of year..
