I was having a conversation with several residents on our neighborhood site about all the douchebaggery that went on in the neighborhood over Halloween. We had house eggings, stolen candy bowls, people shooting out windows of vehicles with a BB gun and the ever present car burglaries because they left the car unlocked. It never ceases to amaze me how far people will go to avoid responsibility.
Somehow it is the HOA's fault for all of this as we don't "listen to their concerns". Some of them must think we have a ready reaction force of jackbooted thugs ready to roll at a moment's notice to beat down criminals in the neighborhood.
I reminded all the complainers and victims of one simple fact, there is no record of a vehicle burglary or damage to one that was parked in the garage with the door closed. Should have heard them screaming like little bitches then......"I have too much stuff"....."we shouldn't have to park"......"we have 4 cars"......etc etc

I use the term "douchebaggery" almost daily in work related matters. Our system administrators, save for one guy that has been our primary focal for a decade or so, are lazy and stupid. They make no effort to do anything on their own or to do it correctly.

My knowledge of Pennsylvania politics is non-existent but I am surprised to learn it is leaning Dem at this point.

Thoughts and prayers out for the Des Moines Police department this morning after losing two of their officers in attacks last night.

I only saw the headline about the 2 cops that were ambushed. Some things I am better off not reading. Especially when the MSM will most likely spin it off into an issue about police brutality
