I was having a conversation with several residents on our neighborhood site about all the douchebaggery that went on in the neighborhood over Halloween. We had house eggings, stolen candy bowls, people shooting out windows of vehicles with a BB gun and the ever present car burglaries because they left the car unlocked. It never ceases to amaze me how far people will go to avoid responsibility.
Somehow it is the HOA's fault for all of this as we don't "listen to their concerns". Some of them must think we have a ready reaction force of jackbooted thugs ready to roll at a moment's notice to beat down criminals in the neighborhood.
I reminded all the complainers and victims of one simple fact, there is no record of a vehicle burglary or damage to one that was parked in the garage with the door closed. Should have heard them screaming like little bitches then......"I have too much stuff"....."we shouldn't have to park"......"we have 4 cars"......etc etc

Simple HOA resolution: No parking out of doors overnight. If ya have too much **** sell some of it and refer to the rule. If you own too many cars for the size of your garage sell and buy a house with a bigger garage. Next man.

It seems like you're not getting the whole "It's not my responsibility" thing Mick. I think the garage situation is a direct result of income inequality and therefore Donald Trump's problem.
