Thanks for the thoughts , guys. Funny to think that we may be on the other end of this is the future. My kids have my "old age" figured out already. Said that they'll just put a bed and couch and table in the garage, already have heat,AC, phone and Internet, carpet on the floor and a JobJohnny ouside the door. Told them that I'm good with that!
Jeeeezz AL, What about the beer, good whiskey and name brand smokes ??
The ingrates !

Hey all.
Saw Inferno this weekend. Was not bad. Reviews said it was bad, but I liked it. Seemed rushed though. The book, of course, was better.

Afternoon Woods. Fun trip to the VA. I got my staples and stitches removed and demonstrated flexion of the knee from 0-103° which is very good for 3 weeks post op. I can only gain another 10° so things are looking good. My sister went with me this morning and she drove me back as I was in substantial discomfort from all the "walking" around the hospital and the physical therapy session. She managed to get my truck home without damaging it.
On another matter, some of you may remember my FIL and his admission to the hospital the other day because he couldn't breathe. They found a partially collapsed right lung and then proceeded to poke and prod other areas with a CT scan. They found a metastasized tumor on the back of his brain that is inoperable and has caused his vocal chords to be paralyzed. He has also lost ability to swallow. He is 75 years old, has a pacemaker thus is not a candidate for focused radiation therapy. A whole head bake would probably wipe his hard drive. Considering quality of life, my wife, who has her plate more than full at this moment has made a very tough decision to move him to hospice care.
