Yesturdays fishing trip went like this..

Thursday over phone.
him, I'll call you at 8 am tomm and let ya know I'm leaving and we can meet at the launch at 9

Me, ok, I'll wait for your call.

Friday 8:30 text
Me, what's going on?
him, a little behind but working on it, figure 9:30 or so
Me, ok I'll go have breakfast, let me know how it's going

10:05 text
Me, where are you?
him, Looks like 11:00 or so now
Me, forget it, I'm going home.

I guess it's to much trouble to keep someone informed about your being late.

Hope ya all are having a good weekend, been informed it's clean the storage shed for winter day, unless it rains...please.

Hey Al, seems like a weather switch today.
Why does the above story sound a little like my errrr, ummmmm wife.....

 

My wife too, an unfortunate thing we as brow beaten husbands have learned to deal with, along with being wrong and it's our fault for anything that happens.

Not acceptable with a new fishing partner, a little common courtesy goes a long ways in securing that second fishing trip.

Does look like rain up here, you might miss it though.

Just a reminder, watch them leaves on the road they're slippery.
