Also I should point out that Maggie Valley is in North Carolina and the riding in the area would be NC and TN. I have never mentioned KY in conjunction with this event. As much as I love my home state, the riding is much better in the Smokeys which are not in KY.

Afternoon, Tracy. You did a good job of including rides, points of interest, etc. when ya mentioned the Smokey Mountains, Maggie Valley, etc. so don't think it went unnoticed.
On first glance the Arkansas idea intrigues me strictly from a lodging point of view....We make one stop, ask if anyone has family members who will take us in and the entire state is open to us!

As long as there is an airport and a place to rent a bike (not a car) I'm good. I voted Smokeys. I like mountains.

These folks were great and helped me out with a tire issue last time I was down that way. It's an Indian dealership now, but has a few Harleys for rent as well.
