John every time I hear of the TVA, I think of the 30s and the Depression.

 

Yeah, TVA's start. Be honest, not much of the state has really changed and there's still a lot of people who resent TVA

 

I used to work at the local pulp mill before I went back to trucking, they generated power using waste wood called "hog fuel". pretty interesting stuff

 

they've looked into alternative fuel sources for this plant. The amount of fuel we burn pretty much precludes everything but coal though
