A buddy of mine has a roll of Cat 6 network cable left over from his basement project. About 600' left over from a 1000' roll. May be pulling cable later if he brings it over. Wanted to get a few things hard wired for fast connection to my server.

 

We did that with our addition as well. We also doubled the number of electrical outlets on the walls cuz there are never enough and they're not in the right places when re-arranging the furniture.

 

In addition to extra circuits in the basement I am having them add a big *** outlet with USB ports for phone charging. Then I will break down and buy 4 - 6' phone charging cables so everyone can charge without having to take turns. If we need to charge more than 4 phones in room at a time it is a sign I need to kick some people out of the house.

 

"big *** outlet" ... Obviously a new electrical term. Will Tim the Tool Man be installing this high tech option Mark ??

 

Morning, morning Woods. Kristi sprung me last night from the hospital and we had the two hour drive home through traffic. Was a bit uncomfortable. Slowly manipulating my leg and knee to work range of motion but I'll tell you, it is just freaking incredible the amount of pain that can cause. At least I am at home. Kristi hasn't gone to get the dog yet and she will add a whole other layer of danger to exercises because she like to be near me at all times.
