the leg pain is part of the diabetes. i have absolutely no feeling from my calf's down. tingling in both hands of the last two fingers also no reflexes in my legs, doctor hits my knees with the rubber hammer, nothing!
Mine is different...it is not diabetic neuropathy. Mine is piriformis syndrome from a leg injury as a teen. Basically my right leg is smaller and weaker than my left and I have compensated for this over the years which has caused my IT band muscles in the piriformis muscle group to squeeze on my sciatica. By compensating my body has been out of alignment so I have to consciously sit, stand and everything else with my legs straight and as even as possible so the weaker muscles can learn to do their job and take the burden off the other muscles which are doing too much and thus squeezing and causing the pain
