Took a run up to Kremmling early this week to check out the new wildlife crossing bridges. First in the state. There are 2 of them between Green Mountain Res & Kremmling..

Up top looking north..

& south..

Once the wire goes up there will be no public access.

From 2007 to 2011, there have been 133 vehicular accidents on Highway 9 from the Heeney
road on the south to the Colorado River Bridge Crossing on the north, according to CDOT
statistics.
Included are three human deaths, 23 people injured, six head-on collisions, four rear-end
accidents, two sideswipes while passing, five sideswipes with oncoming vehicles, 45 overturns,
and 47 incidents involving wild animals on the road. Five drivers hit the guardrail on the side of
the road, while 10 drove onto the embankment.
CDOT is proposing a multi-tiered approach to making the highway safer.

North of Winter Park..

Twas a nice day, (albeit slightly chilly at the higher elevations), & a good ride.

Have a great weekend..

Maybe I need a total day off...maybe for my BDay that is coming up.
If I don't get 8 hours I'm grumpy.

I won't give up eating meat. In moderation it is not bad for you. I don't like the texture or taste of most veggies so those are rare in my diet. Overall I feel pretty damn god most of the time, leg pain aside. and that is getting a little better.

OG, I will occasionally get 8 hours of sleep and it is nice. I get up and watch my shows or read a book uninterrupted. Oh, and there is this "TOAK" thing I do to keep in touch with the cool cats.

Afternoon all.

Good to hear all going well Russ, little tip though, when they ask if you don't need you meds, make sure you don't.

Hard to get them drugs back after you say your ok, been there done that.

56 out now, still a bit cool for Kubbing, wife wants to go grocery shopping anyway and appears somewhere along the line I volunteered to go with.
