Russ, I heard that a new Arthroscopic surgery technique for knee replacement was approved last week. They can now do it all through one inch incision. I've heard it's nearly painless and the recovery time is about two days !

seen a lot of those at therapy, it's crazy how high up the have to cut open. but usually people we walking normal within a few weeks

That's interesting Chuck!


I'm looking at having another replacement done in a few years (or when I can't hold out any longer). Rather not go through the procedure again if there is a viable alternative.

I suspect one is certainly more painful than the other.......
