It's been a lot of fun over the years Greg, but it's the runt of the litter amongst the crew I run with.

Nice. I suppose when you hook a Lake trout at 100 MPH, it takes the fight right out of them.

Mornin, Woods, Woodettes and lurkers. Great pic of Jack and Russ. I see they got VIP seating near the entrance to the ladies' room. Great advance planning, guys.

Just back-reading...funny this should come up yesterday as I spent the afternoon in the grudge changing tires & brakes on the fuglybike.
Original tires and I got 18,329 miles out of the back tire. (same on the front) The cords weren't showing yet....but it was at the point where you wouldn't want to get caught on a wet or a gravel road!!!!
Anyway, the point here is, I had likewise been using Dyna Beads for years, and had good luck with them, After doing some reading, I decided to put Ride-on in these tires just after they were new.
I found the same results as mentioned....it seemed the tires held air better and more consistently, and I really think the kind of mileage I got out of the tire can also be attributed to the ride-on.
Guess we'll see with this new set of tires.
I went ahead and changed the front tire also even though I could have run it a while longer. Put a set of American Elites on to replace the factory Harley F407-F408.
