Guy an girl hiking the north face of the Grand Tetons and he fell and ended up with a compound fracture. 6 climbing park rangers lowered him 800 feet off the rock face. Rangers were 2 days lowering this guy down the hill. No food and little water. Victim almost went into shock.

Paulas mom used to make them once a month. Not much was left for leftovers.
I picked up a farm turkey yesterday, was told the gizzard was left inside the cavity. Never prepared from scratch, only store bought gizzards. Pretty easy to clean and skin them.
2.5 hours later in simmering chicken broth...like candy!
