I see the topic is icecream this morning. There are 2 things I miss here (1) is good rich icecream and (2) is caramel popcorn.

Only because a local radio talk show host was asking about things that transplants to Colorado miss from their hometowns. Braum's ice cream was brought up frequently. It is only available in the Oklahoma City area, so I thought I'd ask Mick.

Just my luck if I ever went to something that mind numbing, Russ. I would get the seat directly next to the shrill voiced woman.

 

Oh contrare' my inquisitive friend, there is a location about a mile away from here. Braum's is a chain of fast food restaurants that sells burgers, ice cream AND has a small grocery inside selling milk, eggs and other essentials. The ice cream is OK, however nothing to really get all in a dither about.

 

Hopefully she brought a cooler of jello shots like the woman I sat behind at Texas Motor Speedway did. She shared...a lot.
