yes...at the stores the local conversion is 2 Bosnian marks = 1 Euro

There are so many tourists here in the summer that the stores and restraunts easily convert Euros, marks and even Kuna ( Croatian curency 4K = 1 Mark)

Turkish Coffee is how the locals prepare it here. It is quite strong, but the surprise is the sludge at the bottom of your cup. Always leave about 1/4" at the bottom otherwise you get a mouthful of grinds. Otherwise it isn't bad.

You need to grind the coffee very fine and boil it using one teaspoon per cup. Whe the water biols take it off the heat and let it set for a moment. Then pour into little dainty cups and add sugar &/or milk.

Mick that statement takes me back to when I was a kid. My grandmoither always used jelly jars as drinking glases. I never knew the difference, but always found the narrow tops annoying.
