I plan to warm the bike up to drain the fluids this week and try to get that stuff out of the way before Saturday. Notice that sentence says "plan" and "try"

Yep, I plan to grab a pair of seals/gaskets when I get the primary fluid.

It has been a dull, dreary, misty rain type day here. Nothing to do for a change and about all I have done is nap and sit on my ***. Enjoyed every minute of it!

Mark, are there any other gaskets, seals, clamps involved with the exhaust that may be rotten, worn out, or otherwise compromised? Just asking so we're prepared.

 

I'll do my best to give'em all a once over before Saturday. I know some of the hoes...errr, hose clamps wear out and break easily

 

And you followed all of Al's guidelines Tracy?

 

Mine had a large O-ring type gasket on the derby cover and the baker kit comes with a round flat type gasket. We just put it on over top the O-ring.


Trying to remember anything else that might help..

Slept for 2 hours, got up for a while and then got another hour nap in a little later!

 

I just got back inside fom taking down the xmas stuff outside.
In the park across the street, two kids are riding around in circles on a small motorcycle. One of those that is about 2 foot tall. The other kid has skates and and is holding a peice of rope that is tied to the bike. They are riding around in a. I circle getting the bike to go faster and faster. The one with skates has at least, a helmet.
