Almost off work, been watching a sturgis documentary for about an hour. Never been, father in law goes all the time, think I'm gonna go this year just to see it.

 

I have never been either and if I do go it won't be during the rally!

The thought of half a million people jam packed into a venue with over priced drinks and trinkets coupled with the morons suffering testosterone envy dims my prospects for going to the rally. Would like to go ride the Badlands and the area, however.

 

Yep, lots of black ice and of course cars and trucks already sliding off the roads.

I'm sure he will like the results as much as I did once he gets out on the open road. Lower RPMs at highway speeds equals a cooler engine and better MPG!

 

Sturgis was the **** back in the day...so was Daytona. Last time I went was '95. Last rally I went thru was Bikes Blues and BBQ and that was an accident.
