Dan we have a lot of Pa project managers down here at the moment. We are bringing on another 200mmcf plant in 9 months attached to this one and the engineers from Pa are doing design work with the contractors from Whitehouse Tx at the moment. I get so sick of coming in early to sit in on meetings with a bunch of dudes wayyyyy smarter than me and have them ask me what I think lol.

I know what you mean. Hahaha...

Some.of the guys I deal with are the top of their game. A couple are too smart for their own goods too!

Where is the new plant going? I am curious of my buddy, your outside sales guy knows about it.

We are looking at revamping 13 legacy compressor stations now.

Dan it's really nowhere. It's an hour to the nearest gas station in the middle of the desert. Depending on who you talk to it's Orla Tx or Whites City New Mexico. We are right on the border an hour south of Carlsbad and an hour north of Pecos.

Evenin Woods! Home from dinner and the ever popular family WalMart trip. Greg, got some blue loctite and 2 cans of brake parts cleaner for the transplant. Do I need new exhaust flange gaskets? Is it one of those "anytime you remove the pipes, replace them" kind of deals?

They say to replace them every time, but I used the same ones 3 times on my current ride and nary a hint of a leak. They're cheap, not a big deal to replace, dealer by my house was just out last time so I said "meh, one more won't hurt".

Ok. That kind of took the cake for today. 5 good days on the road and I get back this evening in time for dinner only to be reminded I offered to help with the concessions for the Art Club at the local HS wrestling match. Totally forgot this but I'm a man of my word. I get to go home now.

Mark it's my opinion that you can get a lot of pipe changes with the original gaskets. I only changed mine when I wood change heads.

Fwiw, I rarely use gaskets over again, they're cheap and it sucks to get something all put together and find a leak.
