TOAK The thread of all knowledge VII
I am a plant operator for Mark West Energy (subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum) and I run a plant just south of Carlsbad NM. Work 6 months a year, can't complain a bit.
Not that anyone would care if I did hahaha.

Cryogenics plant, should have thrown that in there. I strip propane and ethane from natural gas.
I ran a pipeline for Cimarex energy prior to this (for the same engineer, he went over to Mark West and asked me to come with) and before that I actually worked for a living and worked for Helmerich and Payne drilling for years.

Can't beat it, 12 months as a floor hand on a drilling rig and there's not much you will ever consider a crappy job again haha. It can only go up from there.
Yeah buddy, the Army was a definite improvement.
You know Jeremy, another one of the Woods lives in Cortez, CO and does pipeline work, but not building them, I think he monitors it.
I do allot of work for Markwest up here in the Pa, OH and WV areas. You guys really know how to projects. We are all around doing all different kinds if stuff. Learn allot with those guys.

You were in the army? I was a jarhead from 96-07. Got hurt and got the boot. Talk about culture shock getting out as a SSgt and having to start over in oil and gas at the very absolute rock bottom of the totem pole.
