TOAK The thread of all knowledge VII
1960 I bought a 1946 WL that had problems from a guy who had bigger problems.....Paid practically nuthin for it...what I had saved from a paper route and my 1st job...
Pushed it home and hid it inna lean-to shed in back of the ole' mans lean-to garage. Messed around with it everytime nobody was around and at least got it to pop & sputter but it smoked like a freight train and was only hitting on 1 cylinder.
So, after talking to my buddy Gene and his brother Dave (they were both older and Dave had a WLA with a sidehack) they both decided it had a bad piston and needed to be torn down.........
So, That's how it started....and it's been all down hill since then.

There isn't many folks here on TOAK that can tell that same story :-)
From a 46 flatty to a "Superbo Fugly" is quite the change.
