We used to say they went to the glue factory.

 

If fact we have a dead animal processing facility near where I work. We've actually made some custom, replacement parts for their equipment.
The first piece of equipment to greet the dead carcass is a slicer-grinder.
Yep ...the whole thing from eyeballs to hooves gets processed.
Anyone for lunch?

 

We take em to the dump. We do a lot of horses too but those come in pieces from the vet classes. Pigs are generally in bag and are frozen. Pretty normal to make a run to the dump once a week.
