TOAK The thread of all knowledge VII
Good resources of reliable information are key to writing a good story or article Al. If I can't kick a little humor in every once in a while this is going to be pretty boring!
I THINK I do Larry. I reckon we'll find out!
I have some courtesy of the VA. Too many years working on screaming engines with the occasional exploding ordinance. Do they help? Yes they do. You can almost not tell I'm wearing them. Do I wear them? Not so much, they bug me but I suppose if I wore them more I'd get used to them. They are the Resound model with an iPhone app you can use to dial them in just right for the conditions you're in. If it's windy I can turn them down, if we're at a restaurant with lots of background noise I can adjust for that too.
Out & in....Part goes behind the ear and a little tube connects to the part in the ear.
I've had both kinds and this kind seems to work the best.

This may help? Maybe you can PM some of the responders?

Ok, but just remembered you never wear a helmet... I think the helmet will be a problem with those.
You guys cross your fingers for me to help get rid of FILs baby grand piano. These things are HARD to get rid of. Had some folks look at it yesterday and they seemed to like it. It was made in 1923 by the Estey Company, restrung, refinished and rekeyed in the 60's. It isn't a Steinway quality instrument however it appraised at $1500.00 three years ago. Hope they buy it, offered for it to them for $750.00.
