We are getting some of the leading edge of the storm you're dealing with. Our mountains are looking to get 3 ft. Maybe 10" here in the city overnight. Got about a 1/2" now.

Its a dry snow (fluffy/light) which has little moisture to it. Spring snow which has lots of moisture to it is your heavy wet snow.

It helps everyone in a sense. Boosts local economy, fills reservoirs, create jobs.
