Back home from watching the wheels of justice grind to a halt. The star witness could not make it so the case was continued. I did my duty, I showed up and got credit for it.

Damn judges need to take control of the process. The wheels of justice don't turn, they get dragged through the mud.

Hello all! Been running between (now) werk and my moms. Called her at 930 last night, she was really acting weird, I thought she fell and hit her head or something. So I jump in the car, do the usual 25 minute ride in maybe 15, all the while trying my useless brother to get over there. He is half the way between us to her place. No luck. He finally answers when I am about a minute away. He calls 911.

Turns out she fell asleep and knocked off the phone from the cradle when it rang and she was talking in her sleep. Cops got there. Told them no biggie and no problem and no ambulance needed. Got her resettled and got home by 1130.

Woke up with what feels like a cold starting. Dam!
