I've been playing with Linux, running it off a Knoppix boot cd. By default, Iceweasel (that's a Linux browser like Firefox for those that don't know) runs with scripts turned off, and loads way faster than Windows Browsers I've tried - except hdforums, has so many other websites stuff loading with it it chokes with scripts off. Planning to put a full install of Ubuntu on a hard drive, and since that's the one I plan to do all the financial stuff on, will use an antivirus. I liked Win XP, but dealing with Win7 convinced me to start the Linux learning curve.
