Yep ... figured that!
Mick, a friend of mine was just transitioned into the selling side of the car business recently, I'm gonna send him the link to your site.
Driving. Christmas gift delivery...oh, and Batmobile purchase.
After my recent experience at the Mazda dealer to get the differential replaced on my FIL's MX-5 I believe I could make a fortune selling service. I explained to the GM and Mazda USA that the car in spite of only having 18K miles on it had been in for service 23 times and no had ever reminded my 70 something year old FIL that the differential fluid was due at 24 months which was the basis for Mazda denying the claim on the rear end. I got them to pay for it (dealer 1/2, Mazda 1/2) but I think this is a problem in the industry that could be fixed. It has been quite some time since someone took me on a tour of the dealership after I bought a car. The service department was always on the list of places to stop.
Of course. I forgot that you are taking your truck and a 24' trailer to haul the gifts.
Thanks, Greg. What franchise?
Glad ya got that worked out, Russ. You'll all laugh when I say this....the NUMBER 1 reason for a customer to call a dealership immediately after delivery is to ask how to set the radio buttons to their favorite stations. Sad!
