When I first looked at my current house, I knew the wiring was both non-code and dangerous. I actually disconnected a couple circuits as we moved in, and the first project was replacing the wiring. It looked like they'd just grabbed a bunch of different kinds of wire (at least 6 different colors of insulation), mixture of copper and aluminum, and stuck them in randomly. I had circuits crosswired so if you pulled a circuit breaker, the line was still hot from another breaker - found that out with a shower of sparks...
I knew it going in, but got the house for a good price, cul de sac like I wanted for my daughter, and at least when you've done it yourself, you can trust it. Well, for those of us that know what we're doing.

Afternoon Woods. Warming up a little this afternoon and supposed to hit the 40's..

Yep, I believe we are all well into that area Tracy.
BTW, you may want to change that to "Fudge" as I have had a few Izzo Christmas grams because of it
