For years , some time ago, the firelves and Santa would stop at our house toward the end of the night. We're 75' from one of the main intersections in town they'd park the ladder truck right on the street with every light blazing. Cops would be here to keep the grumpy people, who were pissed that traffic was being blocked, in line. Santa would come in, sit in the foyer and see all the little kids in neighborhood and get their pictires taken. We always had food and adult beverages for the firelves and Santa. They were always a lot merrier when they left. Good times in small town America!

All finished assembling some toys for the G'daughter. Not too bad, the washer dryer set only had 160 pieces, probably less than a real set. Last year, the kitchen set had 360 pieces including nuts,bolts and screws. The doll house only had about 60 parts. Of course, you need 3 hands to assemble some parts. Papa is in charge of all toy assembly, daughter just drops the stuff off, I'm OK with that.
