Mornin.
Was in the woods yesterday to burn a pile of wood covered in snow with a bunch of frozen wood underneath.
I told everyone this ain't gonna work....but nooooo they had to try.It burned for a few hours but then we had to move dry wood, if we could find it to keep the flames going on top of the wet stuff. Hopeless situation. I left.
The guy who organized and bought the burn permit will do anything just to get the guys together to drink enourmous amounts of booze and escape his wife for a day.

Morning, Tracy.
Gloria loves her Santa Fe. A lot of car for the money. Ford Escape is another choice that seems to be very popular.

You gotta build a fire to dry out the wet stuff?

Sounds like a better plan...

Morning Greg.

Yeah I looked at the Santa Fe. It's gonna be her car and she has to make the final decision, I just offer advice!

Trying to head off a decision made on the basis of "I like that color!"

We had a fire burning but the dry fuel was running out fast. The snow and ice was winning when I left.

Are you sure you want to finance Gloria's Escape?

She makes 3 times what I do. She can afford to pay to get away from me if she wants.

Been out in the 17° weather this morning to survey the carnage from last night. Apparently, a drunk? ran into one of our brick walls last night and fled the scene at about 0245 leaving his vehicle. Homeowner expects us to come out and pick up the stuff from his yard this morning and I told him that is not what I do. This is the fourth wall that has been damaged this year due to the idiots driving here.

My next email is to the city councilman that lives nearby to see if we can encourage him to persuade the police to get out here and patrol late at night for the speeders and drunks.
