Most everyone else on my team is out the next 2 weeks so there is no one to ask me to do anything. There may be some errant requests from outside our team but nothing that should drag me away from shammin!

Got the coffee going. Today is our last day to prep for the in-laws showing up. They will be here till next Monday. Only two things I know we will be doing. Me an the kiddo will be seeing Rogue One and all of us will be touring Hurst Castle for the Christmas decorations. Never done that.

Please...no spoilers for Rogue One! A simple 1-5 Star rating will be fine. I want to take Benjamin and my nephew, Isaac, to go see it in the coming weeks

You can read up on how the characters tie in and are related to the series. Very informative. I think it will help in watching the movie. I just wish we had an I Max theater. Contemplating weather to watch in 3d or not. Haven't seen any movie in 3d unless you count Jaws many moons ago.

The new 3D to that old stuff is like color to black and white. Unfortunately, not all glasses are equal; first one I saw was Avatar, and it was terrible eyestrain, even if it did look spectacular. Saw it again in an imax with my daughter, and the glasses were fine. I don't like imax, looks off somehow, regular movie format doesn't seem to fit right to me.

I'm going to wait for the dvd, theaters are too damn loud and I can't pause them for toilet breaks. And I like meat and ice cream, not popcorn and candy. I intend to make an exception for the next Avatar, though, want to see it in 3D. I'll just bring earplugs.

I'd guess you have some of the stadium seating theaters there with big electric reclining seats now, too. I have to admit that new Star Wars movie tempts me a little.
