Speaking of alcohol...MIL made bourbon cheesecake bites for the cookie exchange yesterday and gave me the leftover bourbon. It's a shot or so from the travel size bottle but may come in handy after furniture shopping today. I know, I should probably medicate BEFORE furniture shopping but with the kids in the car I will refrain from preparing, and instead focus on recovering afterwards.

I have to ask Stan what is it about living in Granite Falls, MN that makes it possible to endure weather like that every year. Do you get extra *****? What about money? Does someone pay you more to live in that frigid environment?
