Mick, here's a horsetrade deal you'll like. I have identical big snow blowers at my house and my mother's except there's an electric chute control on hers, both 14-15 yrs old. Got a new single stage commercial one thru my SIL this week. He calls me yesterday to see how the new one is. Told him it was great, much less w*rk, etc. and that I just finished doing my mothers place with her big one and busted my *ss.

He says' "You don't need those big ones, I can always use an extra one to have around. I'll buy you a single stage one for up there and you give me the big one. Ifd we get a big sn*wfall, I'll just send my guys up there to clean it" . When I told him that hers had the "lectric chute, he says "OK, I'll take yours, you take the one with the electric chute, my guys will only break it anyway:....win/win for everybody.

Sounds like everyone got exactly what they need, Al. The downside is you have to have them at all.
