As fast as were going, I don't think he ever had time to get his bearings. He did mention something at one point about getting to enjoy the scenery
I'm betting he still has no idea where the hell he was at any given point after we left Richmond! LOL

Interesting link Mick. There are several communities in eastern KY that simply ceased to exist and there remains no trace of them except for the abandoned graveyards.
They would spring up wherever there was work and then be left when there was no more way to make a living
One is not too far from here where I live. Although there are still a few folks living in the area, the only thing that remains of the community is the old iron smelting furnace.
