Ice sux big time!
Morning, woodys!
Just got off the phone with Markus. He is ok, heading north out of Pueblo through the teef of the snowstorm. He says he lost an hour going over Raton Pass. He loves the MDX so far.
Tracy, Gloria is on her 2nd Hyundai, this one a Santa Fe. Our daughter bought the Tucson she had. Love them. Reliable as a rock through a window. They somewhat less expensive than their sister Kias.
We got a bit more snow than was predicted. Temp is -1*

Glad to hear Markus is progressing safely on his journey.
I though about checking out the Hyundai. Really don't know much about them, but there is a dealer not too far away which would be a plus if issues arose with it.
Perhaps a bit of research is in order...

The missus really loves her Mazda CX-5 AWD. Probably a bit more expensive that the Hyundai or Kia.

Uhh yuup!! Snow blowers/ throwers don't work here! They throw limestone off my driveway at windows... bad juju!!

A lot of issues with our buying a new car involves getting it serviced under warranty if something goes wrong. Just not a lot of options that are within reasonable distance. Closest dealers for anything are 20+ miles away and the closest Mazda or KIA dealers are over 50.

Tracy, there's come good deals to be had out there with one year old vehicles . That's the way I've been buying past several years for personal vehicles.
