It was good we went our separate ways before she got hooked. Worst part was her kid also got hooked too and was working for the dealer she was dating. I thought of him as a step son and when we split up she forbade him to see me. I think they are both clean now but lost touch with them over the years.

 

i also had two step sons, my ex refuses to let me see them, her and her family are the apposite way, they are super religious, and what i mean by that is that they go to church 3 to 4 times a week, are only friends with the people at church. they tried to get me to switch religions while we were married..they told me being catholic was wrong and i was going to hell for it..lol..ok

The kid reached out to me last year...about the only good thing Facebook does it provide a way to search for friends, old and new.

He had just gotten out from a 4.5 stretch for "something stupid" that he did not elaborate on. Last I heard he was up here near me in Longmont then went to find his biological Dad in Seattle area and not a word since.

 

Yeah, i'm not against religion, everyone should do what's best for them. They were always on me about going to church, it's just not my thing. when i want to talk to God, i just do. don't need a bunch of other people around me or needing them to tell me how to live my life.
