I always wanted to build a homeless center (somewhere they can live, stay clean, home address for job applications) if I hit the power ball jackpot, but then I get to thinking about what it would take to maintain it and the kind of insurance you would have to carry. I believe we all have a lot of charity in our hearts, but we also have a lot of apprehension about if we will be taken advantage of by those we are trying to help.
Exactly Marcus, you would like to help those truly in need without encouraging dependency for those who would take advantage, just because it's easier.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it or not but my bike has ABS with " linked braking " . Not even sure how it works, never feel it but 21k is pretty darn good.

So doesmine. I can't help but think that the type of riding we do has a lot to do with it. 90% of my riding is back country roads, mostly tar and chip....kinda like riding on a cheese grater
I would like to test the 'help them but do not make them dependent' theory. I will post a mailing address for you to send checks when I rent a really YUGE P O Box.

Me too. I'm thinking of trying one of those " go fund me accounts" . Who knows I might be able to clean up !
