Morning Woods!
The crazy Libs in Traverse City haven't figured out, that if you roll out the red carpet for the homeless, they will flock to your community!

I would think that homeless folks would seek out a more temperate climate in which to be homeless. Is there a such thing as homeless people who travel south in the winter then back north for the summer?

Mornin Tim!

I once saw a "homeless" panhandler in FL get run of fa street corner by a cop. He gathered up his belongings and grabbed a bottle of Crown Royal from behind a concrete bridge support. Not that i needed any reason, even back then, to not give cash to homeless people but that sure made me feel justified for not doing so. I'll give cigarettes, food or something else if I have it available but not cash.

In Vegas, you see so many signs. One was " Wife kicked me out, took all my money, kids home. Please help. And the sign was 3ft tall by 2 ft wide cardboard. All you can see was his eyes as he was staying warm behind the board. You walk past and look, he was a she with ****. We laughed and she started to giggle.

Chuck, supposedly, Dunlop is the only one so far that makes the size of rear for the SGS.

Over 20 years ago, a nun in the largest city in our area (pop.80,000) decided that she was going to save the homeless. She got money for shelters, food, etc. The homeless population in the city exploded. The large cities in the state like Philly and Pittsburgh were actually giving bus tickets to their homeless and sending them here.

Chuck, I put them on the Ultra last year. 15,000 miles on them and not to wear bars yet, but close.

I always wanted to build a homeless center (somewhere they can live, stay clean, home address for job applications) if I hit the power ball jackpot, but then I get to thinking about what it would take to maintain it and the kind of insurance you would have to carry. I believe we all have a lot of charity in our hearts, but we also have a lot of apprehension about if we will be taken advantage of by those we are trying to help.

Yes. Happens here every winter. They make their way to Arizona for Winter then come back in summer.
