I worked at a coal fired plant for a little bit. They didn't go port/starboard shift until a major overhaul. I don't think I would like the 12 hour shifts as a full time schedule.

Always busy it seems. I am thinking about going. The Maggie valley area looks good to ride in. Your thinking of flying in?

With the Dragons Tail, why wouldn't you? LOL.

Yeah, Paula and I are looking into it. It would be a two week vacation. First week we would be tourist, while the second would be Riding!

I hear you. That's part of my hesitation about just saying yes to going. I will say that I'm planning on it. Just not sure if it will work out. And yeah the dragon is on my list of have to rides.

They worked 8s before I hired in. It's not a schedule anyone wants to go back to. Almost no time off between 1st,2nd, and 3rd shifts and you work 7 nights in a row with only 8 hours of overtime because of how it falls on the week/weekend schedule.
