It took them a while but it looks like Canada now has a national bird.
Oh... you can me Ray, or you can me Jay... Or maybe just Gray Jay?

For years I have been trying to convince my son that he should use the proper tools for the job. As recently as two weeks ago when he was down here, I got on his *** about using the wrong tool and told him that we can go get the right tool and not risk screwing up the little part he has working on. Not sure if it is impatience or he's just plain lazy to go get the right tool but he's been lucky, until yesterday. He was mis-using a table saw and trying to make a mitre cut with it On a piece of two inch stock and had his thumb in the wrong spot. Suffice to say that blade grabbed his thumb and cut the crap out of it and now he will probably lose the last third of his thumb. Stupid. I bet I won't have to chime in with the "I told you so", he has a lifelong reminder on the end of his hand.
The pictures are really nasty by the way.

Yep both of them are a little stiff today.
Thank God it was his thumb.. But i'm sure he doesn't want to hear that. you don't want him pointing a gun at you asking if this is the right tool
