Kinda funny law.

 

Just glad these guys had a way around the law as soon as it passed!

 

When did that come into law?

 

Jan 1 it goes into effect. OR you can register your firearm as an assault weapon. Um no thanks. Also new laws for gun stores. Basically if you don't have an AR in your hands by Jan 1 you won't be able to buy one. That's why I got my lower when I did. None left in this county. Got friends who are just now wanting to buy one.

 

Only way we can get an AR is to take a "restricted" course. Only place to use them is at a gun range. And theres hoops you have to go through for that.

What happens if you buy out of state?

 

You have to find an FFL to register it for you and most.wont unless you know a guy. I don't. I guess it's frowned upon.

And now we will have to have a background check to buy ammunition.

 

Give it time and we will probably end up that way too.
